Michael FogelMichael Fogel is a seasoned, results oriented thought leader with over 28 years of industry and consulting experience in all aspects of business and marketing strategy and planning, product development, and revenue enhancement.

Mr. Fogel has an in-depth understanding of consumer and business driven markets, integration of enabling technologies, and strategic and tactical issues across traditional and digital markets. Working closely with senior management in Fortune 2000 companies, he has advised and assisted clients in the creation of over $750 million in added value through specialized expertise in revenue enhancement and new product development. From a managerial perspective, Mr. Fogel has had P&L responsibility in the $8 to $10 million range and managed inter-disciplinary cross functional teams from 6 to over 80 people and project budgets exceeding $40 million.

Prior to joining OneAccord, Mr. Fogel was the founder and Managing Director for GDI Consulting Services, a boutique consulting firm specializing in advisory services to and project management for “C” level officers in emerging, transitional, and low-cap firms. At GDI he worked with companies to develop and implement formal objectives and strategies and tactics as well as secure creative financing and develop alliance relationships.

Before starting his own business, Mr. Fogel served as the Director and Senior Product Development Manager responsible for development, roll-out, and implementation of all Advisory and Risk based products and methodologies for KPMG LLP, a $7.8 billion global accounting and consulting firm. In this position, he successfully developed a range of high visibility core products enabling KPMG to enter new market segments. Supervising all phases of global product development from ideation through product launch, Mr. Fogel help increase revenues by $170 million. Before leaving KPMG, he was promoted to Managing Director responsible for sales and delivery of all Enterprise Risk Management products throughout the Chicago/Ohio Valley Region.

Mr. Fogel has led over 50 consulting projects in both the B2B and B2C market spaces. A representative listing of his clients include Abbott Labs, Bell South, Frito Lay, General Electric, H. J. Heinz, Kraft, Merrill Lynch, Monsanto, Pepsi, P&G, Quaker Oats, Rubbermaid, United Airlines, and Wal-Mart.

A deeply committed husband and father to a blended family of four girls and one boy, Mr. Fogel is active as both a coach and referee in youth sports. Educated at the University of Chicago for both college and graduate school, he continues to support the University through participation in its mentoring programs and by delivering lectures on business ethics. Mr. Fogel is also an Adjunct Professor at the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, DePaul University where he teaches courses on marketing strategy and advertising.
