Mike McCorkle is a non‐profit profes‐sional with 30 years of experience leading organizations and ministries to mission achievement and growth. He has worked in a variety of organizational positions from pro-gramming to Executive Leadership.
Mr. McCorkle specializes in understanding the unique complexities of a non‐profit and how they must work in alignment for organ-izational effectiveness and success. Utilizing a deep analytical framework he can evaluate an array of issues including internal and ex-ternal culture, leadership and board struc-ture and dynamics, organizational history, organizational and individual behavioral pat-terns, personality and strengths dynamics as well as others. He then works with an or-ganization to intentionally focus and align the various elements to create a more produc-tive organizational culture and effective out-comes.
With this analytical framework Mr. McCorkle focuses his service to clients help-ing them “get fundable” through building in‐ternal and external gift worthiness. He also assists organizations needing serious change, or those in crisis which need turn-around plans or Interim Leadership.
Mike also has a passion for helping organi-zations wrestling with the rapid pace of change around them. He uses his analytical skills to generate creative solutions and flexi-ble strategic planning visions that keep in mind the ever changing circumstances we now find ourselves in locally and globally.
Most recently, Mike has served as the CEO for SAMBICA Ministries, a multi‐program ministry serving the serving over 5000 indi-viduals annually. During his tenure at SAM-BICA Mr. McCorkle led the organization from the edge of bankruptcy to vitality and reve-nue growth from $950,000 to 1.5 million in 5 years. The SAMBICA Brand has been molded and implemented along with program, mar-keting and fundraising strategies to maxi-mize organizational effectiveness and im-pact.
Prior to joining SAMBICA, Mike was a Mar-keting and Programs Manager at Lake Re-treat Conference Center, a Church Planting Pastor with New Beginnings Fellowship in Seattle, and a Senior Pastor with the Free Methodist Church in which he holds his ordination.
Mike has served in a variety of advisory roles including strategic planning with the Pacific Northwest Conference of the Free Methodist Church and Chairman of the Board for the International Graduate School of Ministry. Mr. McCorkle graduated from George Fox University with a B.S in Psychol-ogy. He is also a certified trainer in the DiSC Personal Profile System.
